God’s instruction for
man concerning his wife is that the man should love his wife as Christ love the
Church and gave his life for the church. One duty of the man is to be
comfortable enough to put the needs of his wife first above his own needs. To
sacrifice himself if the need arises for the wife to live, just as Jesus did
for us today that we can boldly declare that the reason we are alive is because
He died in our place.
1st Corinthians 13:1-8 explain what kind of love God
expect the man to exercise towards the wife. Ephesians 5:25
Until a man gets to a place where he can comfortably say to
his wife from the heart don’t worry let
me die for you, he is still yet to learn the kind of love Jesus had for the
body Christ.
