Types of Blessings

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. 14 Yet it was good of you to share(S) in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(T) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(U) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(V) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(X) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(Y) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(Z) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(AA) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs(AB) according to the riches of his glory(AC) in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13-19

What blessings will God give those who are good stewards and honor Him? The definition of blessing is the enjoyment of God’s divine favor. Blessing isn’t just having stuff; it’s being able to enjoy the stuff you have. So blessings aren’t necessarily material things.
Firstly, you can expect God to hear your prayers. David said: “Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me” (Psalm 50:14-15). When prayer is mixed with proper stewardship, God will answer.

Secondly, you can also expect God to meet your needs. Second Corinthians 9:8 says: “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” God knows all we need even before we do, and He has all the resources of the universe at His disposal.
When you are a proper steward, you may also enjoy reversal of fortune, where God changes your circumstances. “God turned the curse into a blessing” (Deuteronomy 23:5). “[God] will make up to you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten (Joel 2:25).
We so often try to lead ourselves, but if we will only let Him lead He can reverse our scenarios and make good come from them.

Another blessing of stewardship is emotional well-being. If you are serving God and value Him above all else, you don’t need to worry about money —God will take care of you.

Holy Spirit Insight

"For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." - Matthew 12:40

Are you sometimes troubled while studying the Bible, because you'll come across passages that just don't seem to add up? They may even appear contradictory, and that's disconcerting, because the Word of God just shouldn't contradict itself. For instance, in my early days of Christian growth, I was troubled by the above passage in Matthew. Now, this really bothered me, because no matter how many times I counted, I couldn't see how Jesus was in the tomb for three nights! But years later, a teacher explained that first century writers would count a day and a night if it was any part of that day or night. So, Jesus died on Friday and was dead for Friday night, Saturday night, and part of Sunday - thus in that day, it was considered three nights. That insight pulled it all together for me; it finally made perfect sense.
In that light - I am so thankful that we have the Holy Spirit and wise teachers to help us understand things we don't see when we first read the Word. That's why Bible studies are so vitally important and why we need Spirit-filled teachers to guide us. Most of all, that is why we need the Holy Spirit to give us insight into areas that we can't understand on our own.

Expecting God's Blessings

Luke 6: 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Sometimes people view working toward a reward as less than honorable. If your only reason for serving God is to get a reward, that’s not right. But it’s fine if the reward is only one reason for serving Him. God’s Word shows us that He is vitally concerned about rewards. Jesus said: “There is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms will for My sake  . . . but that he shall receive a hundred times as much now in the present age . . . and in the age to come, eternal life” (Mark 10:29).

God honors those who honor Him, and God wants you to expect to be blessed. If you are a Christian, you’ve already been blessed “with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3). And if God can trust you to be generous with the earthly treasures He’s given you, He won’t forget where it started, and it will come back around to you.
Giving is the way to receiving. Most Christians have it backwards; they say, “Lord, give to me and then I will give to You.” But the fundamental difference between us and God is that we can trust God, but He can’t trust us. Many times He gives to us and never sees it again. When we honor Him first, He promises to respond to us. When we trust in His provision, He will determine what and how much we will receive.

Invest in Your Stewardship

No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth (Luke 16:13).

In this parable, Jesus told the story of a steward who messed up. He shared this story with His disciples because He was concerned that they might develop the mindset of the Pharisees, "who were lovers of money... listening to all these things and... scoffing at Him" In this parable, a very rich man delegated responsibility for his assets to a steward. But this man squandered his boss's possessions, and the result was that he was about to lose his job. This is not a story about spending; it's a story about investing. And one day, God will call us to an accounting of what we have done with what He has given us. We will have to answer according to how we have squandered or invested the blessings He entrusted to us.

The steward came up with an idea. He went to every person who owed his master money and lowered their debts so that he would have something to give the master. The master then "praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly". Jesus' point was: "The sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind unbelieving, conniving servant was able to secure his future. He messed up his past, but he put things in motion to take care of the future and he was praised for it.
Just as sinners act shrewdly to cover their bases for their future on earth, Christians had better act shrewdly to cover their future in terms of eternity.

HE Heals

The Woman Who Was Healed by a Touch (Luke 8:43-48)

This sick, anonymous woman must have been emaciated after a hemorrhage lasting for twelve years, which rendered her legally unclean. She could not throw herself, therefore, at the feet of Christ and state her complaint. Her modesty, humility, uncleanness and pressure of the crowd made close contact well-nigh impossible, hence her eagerness to touch in some unnoticed way the hem of His garment. Who was this woman of faith? The primitive church, feeling she was entitled to a name, called her Veronica, who lived in Caesarea Philippi, but in the gospels she is enrolled in the list of anonymous female divines.

She Was Cured After Many Failures
What this poor woman really endured at the hands of the medical men of the time is left to the imagination. What a touch of reality is given to her story by the knowledge that she had suffered many things of many physicians and was no better but rather “grew worse.” Where men failed, Christ succeeded” But it is the glory of Christ that He can heal those who come late to Him.

She Was Cured With the Utmost Rapidity
Mark’s favorite word, “straightway,”  in most cases related to Christ’s rapid cures. How swift He was in His relief for the suffering! As at creation, so in His miracles of healing, “He spoke and it was done. A strength she had not known for 12 years renewed her being, and she knew that Christ had made her whole.

She Acknowledged Receipt of the Benefit Bestowed
As soon as the woman touched Christ’s garment, He felt that “virtue had gone out of Him,” and turned about and said, “Who touched me?” The disciples mildly rebuked Jesus by saying, “Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?” “She told him all the truth.” She experienced that open confession is good for the soul. What a glow of gratitude her countenance must have had, as she publicly stated that her burden for twelve years had rolled away!

She Was Commended for Her Faith
The crowd who listened to her confession also heard the Saviour’s benediction, “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” As a true daughter of Abraham ( Luke 13:16), her faith is crowned by the Master. Hers was not faith without a touch, or a touch without faith. Believing, she appropriated and was healed. “

She Has a Place in Legend
She only touched the hem of His garment, and straightway she was whole!!!!!

The Way!!!

‘I Am the Way and the Truth and the life'

Our world is filled with empty promises; anyone can claim anything. But only Jesus Christ delivered on His claim to be the divine Son of God. The disciples had left everything to follow Jesus of Nazareth, who claimed to be the anointed Son of God. They were excited and thrilled with the miracles they witnessed. They were impressed by His exercise of spiritual authority. His teaching encouraged them. And now Jesus was telling them of His death, and that one of them would betray Him.

Jesus knew the disciples were confused and discouraged. Therefore, He comforted them with these words, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me” (John 14:1).

If you feel that the frenzy of the world is consuming you, remember that you have a Savior who loves you and who will fight for you. Don’t become worried and anxious. Jesus is near to you. He has promised never to leave you, no matter how dark life seems to be. Don’t let sorrows and suffering take joy from you. Jesus has a place for you with your name written over it. “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2).

No matter how many times you see the hand of God working in your life or experience His provision, it is easy to lose sight of God’s love and faithfulness. If you only focus on your current difficulty or discouragement, you may lose sight of His blessings and promises.

Don’t become discouraged. Despondency says things are hopeless, and life is aimless. Jesus says there is hope beyond suffering and the grave. There is a way out of all difficulties. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He will never let you down. He will not forsake you.

Should Christians Marry Christians?

"Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 NAS

Did you know that Christians are called to marry Christians? Why, you might ask? First, it's just common sense. If Christ is your priority and you marry someone whose priority is politics, music, work, sports, education, or anything other than Christ, in time, you'll find yourselves drifting apart. God's practical instruction that Christians are to be bound with Christians allows us to be joined together in a deep relationship of love, respect, compassion, and understanding.

But that's not all. If it's important that Christians marry Christians, then it is just as important that Christians should only date Christians! Why? Well, the fact is that we tend to marry people that we date! Christians must be cautious about getting into a serious relationship with anyone not committed to following Jesus Christ. Determine their commitment right up front. Ask them if they're committed in their relationship to Christ - not just mouthing words and professing things they don't mean in their hearts. Otherwise, you're choosing that person as your priority over Christ, which is clearly outside the will of God.

What Will You Say?

I brought glory to You here on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. Now, Father, bring Me into the glory We shared before the world began. ” John 17:4-5

While reading through the book of John. When I got to verse four above I had to stop and really reflect. You see at this point in the book Jesus had been betrayed and his accusers were on their way to arrest him. He knew that they were going to kill him. The final hours of His life had come and He knew that He was completing the work that He had come to this earth to do. Facing the end of His life He could confidently say to our Heavenly Father

This made me think, will we be able to say the same thing when our lives’ are nearing its end? Will we be able to say that we have brought Jesus glory in this world, in our families, in our communities, in our work places, and in our schools? Will we be able to say that we have completed the work He gave us to do?

Truth or Parable

"When He was alone, the Twelve and the others around Him asked Him about the parables. He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!" - Mark 4:10-12

Have you ever heard anyone say, "I believe everything in the Bible, literally?" Well, if you have, that person is probably misguided. Why is that? There is a big difference in saying that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and saying that every word should be taken literally. Take a look at the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: Jesus said, "If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out, and throw it from you; for it's better for you to lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell." Jesus was not actually urging us to pluck our eyes out. He was talking about the seriousness of sin, and how we must repent of sin, lest we wind up in hell. But, if every word Jesus uttered is taken literally, every one of us must immediately gouge out both eyes!

Remember that Jesus taught in parables and metaphors. He used these devices to make the broader spiritual point. Does that water down Scripture? Absolutely not. Jesus was simply using memorable illustrations to communicate perfect truth. And that's where the guidance of the Holy Spirit comes in to play; to help us to distinguish between literal truth and a parable, thereby allowing us to understand the rich truths of our faith.

Begin With God

"In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch." - Psalm 5:3

There are a lot of people who don't get up and going until about three o'clock in the afternoon. That's when their creative juices start flowing and when they really feel alive. Are you one of those people? Well, I'm not and neither is my wife. Through the years of having early morning commitments, our bodies just naturally wake up early, even though sometimes we wish we could just sleep! As it turns out, for most people, our days begin early.

So, doesn't it make sense to get in touch with the One who created the day - to begin your day by spending a few minutes alone with God each morning? Study God's Word and share with Him, through prayer, your heart and your concerns. It will help get you in the right frame of mind. You'll find your day will start and finish a whole lot better.

Even if you're a night owl, let me suggest that you start your day, whatever time that may be, in the same way. Spend a few minutes alone with God in your "morning" and you'll also find that your life will be enriched and blessed as the day progresses.

Our Strong Tower

The name of the Lord is a strong tower ,the righteous run into it and they are save. Proverbs 18:10

A tower is a structure that is big in Size and protective in Nature. With this in mind, picture how awesome the safety we have in Jesus.

His name is not just a tower but a strong one. This brings to mind the fact that they are a lot of tower out there such as money , fame, education,  people and even jobs that are not as strong as the tower Proverb 18 ;10 is talking about. (The name of Jesus)

This morning in spite of your exceptions and security needs, I encourage you to stick to Our Strong Tower.  He said come unto Me all who are labored and heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Father we just thank You this morning for always been there for us. we thank you because in your name we are saved and protected. I pray for every one called by your name this morning , who is experiencing one difficulty to another to be relieved from what ever it is in Jesus name. Thank you Lord, thank you our strong tower.

Disciplined Time Management

”Be careful, then, how you live—not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time.” - Ephesians 5:15-16a
Do you ever struggle with making the most of your time? Feeling like there’s just not enough time in each day? Well, we have to remember we all have the same amount of time: one hundred sixty-eight hours a week, twenty-four hours a day. The key is making the most of our time. This is a spiritual, as well as practical, issue.

Scripture says, “Be careful, then, how you live, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time.” So how do you do that? List the top three to five priorities of your life. This list will help you prioritize how you spend your time.

Concentrate on what’s most important, and major on the majors. As you approach each day, write down the most important thing you need to do, commit to do it, then go to the second most important thing and do it.

Effective time management is an important discipline to have, in order to live the successful life. So get with it before your time runs out.

Hope For The Sinner

"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." - John 8:34

Have you ever noticed that sin has a way of multiplying in a person's life? The Bible paints a very graphic picture of a person who becomes entrapped by his own sin. It says, "And he will be held with cords of his sin." Now what does that mean?

Have you ever seen a little bug caught in a spider's web? The more that bug struggles to become free, the more entangled in the web it becomes. That's what this verse is talking about. The person is trapped by his sin, and even when he comes to his senses and recognizes the need to change, he cannot escape by his own strength. He just gets more tangled.

But there's hope for the person caught in his sin. We can all be free from bondage by admitting our sin to God and giving Him control of our life through Jesus Christ. Only He can untangle us from the tangled web of sin that we weave!

The Spirit of Freedom

Galatians 5: 1-5
So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.
Listen! I, Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you. I’ll say it again. If you are trying to find favor with God by being circumcised, you must obey every regulation in the whole law of Moses. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us.

The text begins with a clear and refreshing statement of Christ's will for our lives. Sometimes we get bogged down in a quandary about God's will. And often we worry about decisions which are simply not a great issue with God (where to go to school, what job to take, where to live, etc.). We need to orient our lives on the clear statements of Scripture regarding God's will. And here is one: "For freedom Christ has set us free." Christ's will for you is that you enjoy freedom. Where you study, what job you do, where you live, etc., are not nearly so crucial as whether you stand fast in freedom. If they were, the Bible would have commanded those things as clearly as it here commands freedom. But it doesn't.

So your enjoyment of freedom is much more important to God than many of the day-to-day decisions that fill us with so much concern. A good test of your priorities in life would be whether you are just as concerned about the command to enjoy your freedom as you are about other pressing decisions in your life. Do you exercise as much diligence in prayer and study to stand fast in freedom as you do to decide about home, job, studies, marriage partner? It is a clear and unqualified command: "Stand fast and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." This is the will of God for you: your freedom. Uncompromising, unrelenting, indomitable freedom. For this Christ died. For this he rose. For this he sent his Spirit. There is nothing he wills with more intensity under the glory of his own name than this; your freedom.

Not From Men

Paul received his calling and title as an apostle, not from or through man, but by Jesus Christ. The same is true for each of us. Regardless of who you are and how you feel about yourself, God has given you a gift and a calling.

Galatians 1:1
Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead) ...

Our natural tendency is to look to men for affirmation of our value and to trust in what they can do for us. But it's important to realize that man cannot give you a gift or a call. That may be a bit disconcerting, but take comfort in the fact that in the same way that man cannot give you a calling, no man, regardless of how powerful or influential, can ever take away the calling God has given you.

The God who calls and gifts us is the same God who raised Christ from the dead. Nothing is too hard for him, and that includes opening the right doors for us at the right time. He will give us the ability to do whatever it is he has called us to do. Cling to this truth when it seems you are not appreciated, or when doors are slammed shut in your face. God has called you; God has gifted you. And he will indeed open doors for you in his time and way as you patiently do what he has called you to do.

There's No Going Back

"For I do not want you to be unaware brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea." - 1 Corinthians 10:1-2

There is an interesting passage in the book of Exodus commenting on the actions of the Israelis after Passover. It says, "After the Passover Lamb...saved their life, they were led to freedom. Then they demonstrated their faith by walking through the sea." In a way, their obedience was like their baptism, just like the baptism of a new believer in Jesus Christ. God was saying to Israel - as He was saying to the early Christian church - "Look, once you take that first step, there's no going back!" Once God brought the waters of the sea together again, there was no going back to slavery in Egypt. They had to walk forward on their journey of faith. And guess what? They made it to the other side because of their faith!

The same is true when we accept Christ. We are then to be baptized as a testimony of our faith in Christ. When we enter those waters of faith, there's no going back! There's no going back to the days before we knew Christ; we're now on an irreversible journey that follows Jesus to the ultimate Promised Land!

Self Evaluation

2 Corinthians 13:5-  Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

We generally take one of two approaches to self-examination. The first is something on the order of, "I'm no good. I've never lived up to my expectations. I'm just worthless."
Some of us hail from some pretty painful backgrounds. A handful has been molested and feels worthless because of it. Others have been told they were useless from childhood and have a very low opinion of themselves. Many have just had terrible experiences that have left scars, making accurate self-examination very difficult.

We may not like ourselves, and we wonder how anyone else could like us—especially God. We may look at ourselves, at the plethora of mistakes that dot our past, and judge ourselves harshly. In some cases, we feel we are unworthy to take the Passover.
The second approach to self-examination is just the opposite. Here we give ourselves a quick once-over and go on our way. Like the man in James 1 who looks in the mirror, sees what he is, but immediately forgets, some of us fail to give our lives a thorough evaluation.

We may think, "Well, in Romans 7 it shows that Paul sinned. He didn't want to, but the sin in him caused him to. Man will never be perfect until the return of Christ. If Paul couldn't overcome sin, then I guess that God knows that we really can't get out all the sin. I'll try, but if it's too hard, I'm sure that God will understand." A person who uses this approach may feel he is taking the Passover seriously, but in fact has not done a proper self-examination.

Make Your Thought Count

Commit your works unto the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established. Proverb 16:3

How amazing this sound! You mean my desires which inspire the content of my thought will be established if I commit my thoughts unto God?
That is precisely what the word is saying, for your thought to hold water you need to commit your works unto Him. You are a product of your thoughts and as a child of God , God desire that you end up well hence He gave you the opportunity to bring your works before Him so that He can establish it. You might want to ask why my works instead of my thought?

The truth is every man’s work is a finished product of their thoughts so through our works He can determine our thoughts. Not every of our thoughts are God's plan for our life that is why He wouldn’t establish just any thoughts.
In Philippians 4:8 Paul gave us an insight concerning what should be the content of our thoughts. It is very important to know that a good thought does not equal God's thoughts, but a God thought will definitely produce good result.

Am sure you have failed in something you thought was an excellent idea and was convinced that God was in it because you prayed about it.

To make your thought count is to have God ok it. And God will only ok thoughts that serve His purpose in your life.

To commit your works unto God is to allow your thought which is the raw material of your works to be inspired by the word and Spirit of God.

It is to make God's will your number one priority in any of your life venture.

How to achieve this:
1. Make the word a daily food.
2. Pray in tongues daily and regularly and especially times when you don’t seem to know what God's will is concerning a particular issue facing you.

The Blessing of Faithful Obedience

Hebrews 11:7
It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.

We learn from Noah that it is possible to remain faithful and pleasing to God even in the midst of a corrupt and sinful generation. Surely it wasn't easy for Noah, but he found favor in God's eyes because of his remarkable obedience.

God blessed and saved Noah, just as he will faithfully bless and protect those of us who follow and obey him today. Our call to obedience is not a short-term, one-time call. Like Noah, our obedience must be lived out over a lifetime of faithful commitment. Those of us who persevere will finish the race.

Become Jesus' Spokes person

What I tell you in darkness , that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.   Matthew 10:27

This words where directed to the disciples and not to the multitude. He was not talking about one of his numerous messages preached in front of a large congregation  Neither was he talking about any of his public display of the supernatural.

As I read through this passage, what comes to mind is intimacy. The kind of intimacy that makes one trust you with his or her most valuable secret. Jesus was telling his disciples here based on His relationship with them, what ever I tell you in the absence of the multitude be sure  to say it in their presence.
He desired  for  the people to know what he was telling the disciples , but at that point in time they where not really mature enough to handle it so he decided to whisper it in their  ears while at the same time instructing them to make sure they make it public.

Many of us today find our selves in this same position where we have heard from God during our quiet time , but don't know what to do . Some of us believe that if God can disclose it to us then surely He must have done the same to other brethren. The truth is some of our brethren are yet to reach that level where they can actually hear and understand God clearly hence God decided to use you as His Spoke person. He trusted in your ability to go public with that piece of revelation He just dropped in your spirit while you meditated on the word and wait on Him.

He wishes every born again child could hear and understand Him when he speaks, but unfortunately some are still growing  and He is counting on you to pass the message across to them in the way they would be able to comprehend it. So friends be aware that its time to go public with that revelation God has dropped in your heart. there are people out there who will only understand the mystery of  God's love from your mouth.

Moses was God's spoke person before the congregation of Israel. We saw all through the exodus of the Israelite how God would call Moses aside to instruct him on what and how to lead the people while they wondered in the wilderness. The truth is they were all God's children , but not all of them understood God's ways. Moses, He showed His ways, but the congregation of Israel He showed His act.  Lets step up  and take on the role of mentor-ship. lets not assume they have an understanding of everything just because they are now born again. while we await their sensitivity and maturity in the Spirit lets be God's spoke person unto them.

The world needs to know about  that encounter you had with Him few days, weeks and even months ago. May be that is what they have been waiting for to be convince that Jesus truly saves .

Jesus  said to them preach it on the housetop! go public with it. Christianity is influencing others to see Jesus just as He is, hence its not passive, neither is it convenient.

The Strength to Forgive

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. - Matthew 6:14

Have you ever noticed the presence of that little two-letter word in the Lord's prayer? It says "And forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us." Did you catch that? The word "as" implies that we cannot be forgiven until we offer that same forgiveness to others. In case we miss the "as," Jesus makes it very clear in the next verse: "But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:15)

Forgiving someone who has treated you poorly, said evil things about you, even broken up your family, is a very difficult thing to do. It takes Godly intervention to truly offer forgiveness to people who have deeply wounded you. But God commands us to do so, and God would never command us to do anything that He wouldn't provide the ability to do.

Right now, pray for God to give you the strength to forgive those who have hurt you. Not only will God give you the power to do so, but He will also empower you supernaturally to love them, even though you hate what they did. Remember, bitterness is the poison we swallow, hoping the other person dies. Enjoy the release of this terrible burden by experiencing the cleansing power of forgiveness.

Never Lose Sight of Love

Psalms 21:7 "For the king trusts in the Lord, and THROUGH the steadfast love of the Most High HE SHALL NOT BE MOVED."

On Monday night I had a vision of a small piece of paper with 'love' written in the middle. To the left of 'love' was drawn a vertical line which divided the word 'love' from the word 'time' & on top of the word 'love' was a horizontal line which divided 'love' from the word 'situation'. Not understanding I asked God what it meant & He said...''Love is not accountable to time or situation.''

What we often miss in our daily lives is the love of God...
The love of Christ is so vast, so powerful that 3 nails couldn't stop it. It is so potent that a crown of thorns & 39 lashes on the back couldn't bruise it. It is so loud that even death couldn't & wouldn't soften it...there's only one reason that Christ came...in love.
Today family, don't become so wrapped up in your situations that you lose sight of love for love has more power. Let the love of God change your situation and don't let the situation change your love for God. Let the love of God motivate you and guide you because that's all God wants you to know...that He loves you.

1 Corinthians 13:8- "Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away."
